The thesis presents a user interface design method that applies the Object Oriented Model. In first term is developed a study of the User Interface Systems, classification, structure, etc. After that is presented a object oriented model of a user Interface System, the main characteristics of the presented model are: User Interface System independent from the application and the Technological Layers, a system of validation that define three levels of data validation: field, layout, and system; this validation system is defined in function to the restrictions and structure of the data base.

This work presents the application of a Geographical Information System (GIS) developed to manage the spatial and thematic information of a Rural registers, the system use as base maps the result of a Orthophotomap processing of aerial photographs. The work was developed in all phases, starting from the identification of control points throught the generation of digitalized maps from the Orthophotomap and the inclusion of thematic information in the GIS.
