Parallel Computing

I have given class in the "Parallel computing" ("Computación Paralela") course of the Computer Science degree during the years 13/14, 14/15 and 15/16.

This course is part of the subject "Computer Engineering Complements" ("Complementos de Ingeniería de Computadores"). Its goal is that the students learn how parallel programming could reduce the time needed to solve computational problems.

Students are taught about the theory of parallel computation and they use technologies such as OpenMP, MPI, and CUDA. The objective is to show the students how to built parallel applications. This course covers the phases of design, compilation, debugging, and parallel execution.
